Biography

Born in 1939 in Kalâat Sraghna, region of Marrakech, Miloud Labied, known as Miloud, emigrated with his family to Salé in 1945. While working, exercising the most diverse trades, Miloud followed from 1958 to 1962 a free apprenticeship of drawing and painting in the workshop of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, directed in Rabat by Jacqueline Brodskis.
He also spent a year at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1974. His first solo exhibition took place in 1963. Miloud created a Foundation of Graphic Arts located in Assif Al Mal, region of Marrakech. He died in Rabat in 2008.
